Ben Allen is an accomplished American attorney and Democratic politician. Serving as a California state senator, he has represented the 26th district from 2015 to 2022 and the 24th district since 2022. Allen is a dedicated member of the California Democratic Party. His academic credentials are impressive, with a Bachelor's degree in History from Harvard University, a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge. Prior to his tenure in the State Senate, Allen was a University of California Student Regent and a board member of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. His professional experience includes roles as a litigator at Bryan Cave LLP, a judicial clerk at the United Nations' International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, adjunct faculty at UCLA Law School, and Of Counsel at Richardson and Patel LLP.
