BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the governing body responsible for managing cricket in India. Established in 1928 under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, the BCCI organizes all domestic and international cricket tournaments in the country. With the authority to select players, umpires, and officials for international events, BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world. BCCI also developed the successful Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India, which has significantly increased their financial stature in the global cricket arena.
