Angela Dawn Craig is an American politician, retired journalist, and former businesswoman. A member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, Craig has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 2nd congressional district since 2019. The district covers the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities and rural areas to the southwest. Prior to her congressional career, Craig was a senior vice president of Global Human Resources at St. Jude Medical. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis. Craig's political career is marked by her commitment to representing her constituents in Minnesota, with a focus on healthcare, education, and rural development. Her background in journalism and business has informed her legislative priorities and approach.
