Angela Taylor, often referred to as Angie Taylor, is a prominent politician in Nevada, currently serving as a state senator for District 15. She made history as the first Black woman to represent a Northern Nevada district in the Nevada Assembly and continues to break barriers in her political career. Taylor was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in November 2022, representing District 27. During her tenure, she has been an advocate for education reform and student safety. She has also served on several committees, including as vice chair of the Education Committee13. In November 2024, she was elected to the Nevada Senate for District 154.
