Andrew Swire Billig is an accomplished American politician and business figure affiliated with the Democratic Party. Born and raised in the United States, he has made significant contributions to his community and state through his political and business endeavors. Billig earned a Bachelor's degree in Government from Georgetown University, which laid the foundation for his career in public service. He began his political journey as a member of the Washington House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. Subsequently, he was elected to the Washington State Senate in 2012, representing the 3rd Legislative District, and currently serves as the Senate Majority Leader. In addition to his political career, Billig is also a co-owner and the President & General Manager of the Spokane Indians minor league baseball team, highlighting his diverse skill set and leadership capabilities.
