Abigail Disney

Abigail Disney is an American filmmaker, philanthropist, and activist, widely recognized for her documentaries focusing on social themes. Born in 1960, she is the granddaughter of Roy O. Disney, co-founder of The Walt Disney Company. She is the CEO and president of Fork Films, a production company devoted to producing documentaries that raise awareness about critical social issues. Despite coming from a family steeped in entertainment history, Abigail Disney is equally renowned for her humanitarian work, particularly her advocacy for gender equity, and the impact of her philanthropic organization, the Daphne Foundation.
