More than 50 days ago, Pakistani sailors were kidnapped by Somali pirates.

For more than 50 days, they have been away from their families.

• They spent Eid in captivity.
• Their children spent Eid without their fathers.
• Their parents spent Eid not knowing whether their sons were safe.
• Their wives continue to wake up every day hoping for news that never comes.

They are being forced to drink dirty yellowish water while waiting for their release.

More than 50 days later, they are still not home.

How much longer should their families wait?

How many more Eids, weeks, and sleepless nights must pass before this becomes a national priority?

We demand that the Government of Pakistan must immediately treat this case as a matter of national urgency, appoint a public focal person, actively pressure the ship owner/company to urgently conclude negotiations with the pirates, and provide daily official updates to the families.

If the ship owner/company fails to secure their release through negotiations, the Government of Pakistan must directly intervene and take every possible step necessary to bring our brothers home safely.

More than 50 days is enough.

Their families have waited long enough.
