Human history is full of empires created through violence, all of which disappeared. 

Initially created with six members and now operating with 27 while awaiting new members, the European Union is a unique case in History of nations coming together and resolving their differences through negotiation, compromise, and dialogue, thus opening an emancipating way. 

Each nation has its own history, culture, and interests. This causes tensions and crises, but it is our chance to resist to those who, from Trump to Putin, want to erase or destroy the EU.

We, citizens of Europe, call on the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, to promote the development of Enhanced Cooperation between willing European states, open to non-EU member states (UK, EFTA members), in order to rapidly implement, under the supervision of the European Parliament and the CJEU (Court of Justice of the EU):

- a common policy on industrial arms production,

- active cooperation in the field of intelligence,

- the establishment of a European deterrent force, including nuclear deterrence, open to the other countries, beyond France and the United Kingdom,

- a substantial dedicated common budget,

- immediate assistance to any state that is the victim of armed, cyber, or informational aggression.
