⚖️ SERIOUS VIOLATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW

Djeukam TCHAMENI is being prosecuted before a military court, despite being a civilian.

This is a clear violation of international and African legal standards.

This situation violates:

• The African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
• The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
• The UN Nelson Mandela Rules.
• African principles prohibiting the trial of civilians before military courts.

📢 A CRITICAL SITUATION

This case is part of a broader pattern of repression marked by:

• arbitrary arrests.
• prolonged detention.
• violations of the right to defense.
• threats to physical integrity and dignity.
• The situation has become even more alarming after the death in detention of Anicet EKANE.

Today, Djeukam TCHAMENI’s health is deteriorating, and his life is at risk.
