Pepperell Conservation Commision Meeting Dec 20th 7pm Town Hall. Birch Dr wetland impact
John RamboNew Market, CA, United States
Dec 19, 2016
During the Birch Drive Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on Dec 7th meeting the following was discovered that will harm our precious wetlands.
The road (40 ft wide proposed , less than town required 50ft) that is being proposed by Etchstone by state law needs to be within a 50 foot buffer zone of the surrounding wetlands.
Etchstone is asking for the town to approve a 10 foot buffer zone to exiting wetlands..
Negative impact will be run off into the water from vehicles and pollutants created by this development.
Etchstone is also looking for the Zoning Board of Appeals to allow services to be allowed to run "Under the Wetlands" gas piping, sewer piping, water piping, electrical and cable services all running through and under the wetlands. This will forever destroy these wetlands.
Please attend the meeting if you are concerned about this destruction of our fragile wetlands in this area. Keep in mind Nashoba Conservation Trust's land will also be impacted by this in a negative way as well. They own 11 acres abutting these wetlands.
Thank you for all your continued support and Happy Holidays to everyone!
