(This is an English translation of what I posted last time.)
Hi everyone
Nice to meet you to those who newly participated in this campaign.
Hello again to those who joined it in a few months ago.
I am Aoi Murata, an organizer of this campaign, from Akita Art University.
Due to the lack of energy and the condition of my mental health, I have not engaged in this campaign for a while. I apologize for that.
Since I started this campaign, we have come to see the huge trends towards standing up for discriminations, including #BlackLivesMatter, gaining great attentions from all over the world.
Then, one idea came to my mind: Contact Nao Yoshino, a Japanese plus size fashion model. She used to have eating disorder. With this experience, as well as a model, she has exposure in the media, joined several events, and even holds some workshops at school. I introduced this campaign to her, and fortunately, she liked it and shared it.
Thanks to her, surprisingly, the number of participants has increased dramatically. This made me so thankful and impressed with how many people can support me.
Again, thank you so much for all who supported this campaign.
I strongly hope to continue this campaign. However, again, considering my physical and mental health, I am planning to bring a new leader. My friend from high school nominated herself as a leader for this.
With my responsibility to start this, I will keep my name along hers as it has been till today. When everything gets ready, I will make an announcement here again.
I will keep this activity, with the destination to YouTube. At the begging, Nao advised me that it would be too difficult to talk to YouTube; rather, it would be better to talk directly to ads’ company. However, since I saw the steady support from you all, I decided to add YouTube to the destination of this campaign.
If you could participate or share this campaign, I would definitely appreciate it.
