Hi all,

Yesterday I posted that the future of the Yamhelas Westsider Trail will be coming back on our county commissioners agenda, and due to a change of date by the BOC I have just a quick update to that information. 

Yamhill County has now scheduled a work session on the Trail for Thursday, March 18th at 10:00 a.m.

This is great because it gives us a little more time to get coordinated in our response. For those of you who, like me, are furious about this wasteful, disinvestment in Yamhill County, and who want to make their voices heard, but may need a little help putting it into words, I'll be sending out a template letter and bulleted talking points for letters to the BOC this weekend.

When originally scheduled, the item was titled: “Review/discussion of next steps for Yamhelas Westsider bridge project, master planning, and grants.” We assume the subject will be the same but stayed tuned for any changes!
