Unfortunately, this petition was a flop. This did not gain the momentum I was looking for. However, I do realize over time what the issue was. The issue was not with WOW Air and Pakistan. The issue is no European airlines come to Pakistan at all — because of our politicians. Pakistani politicians since 2006 have been allowed to board planes without screening in Pakistan. This has affected many, including Pakistan’s own flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines, which was forced to fly to England as a stopover for their previously-existing flight to New York. So I will soon be back to create a new petition to ask that politicians in Pakistan get screened.
