We reached 1000 signature in a week thank you for your support, this could not be achieved without self-respecting people from all ethnicities speaking out. The petition is being shared and people are taking notice and sharing their disgust.
I read a review today and actually felt depressed, the link between why people are outraged about this seems to be missing, and its this;
RESPECT GIVEN TO THE ANCESTRAL CHILDREN OF THE ENSLAVED & DEHUMANISED.
This is a "complex piece" said one person who had seen it, and proceeded to tell us why it was "sad" we were sharing the petition without actually seeing the piece. This is NOT art, this is a part of a brutal history that was rooted in objectifying of race of people.
For those who feel that this piece of art is challenging racism take a look at this clip, those who know it feel it, and to ignore our feelings, is to be complicit and continue to reinforce racism as acceptable.

Once again thank you for the support and encouragement, we will not stop until they stop.
