It has been nearly 48 hours since the request was submitted to allow Dr. Ko Wen-je to receive independent medical care, and yet no proper action has been accepted by Taiwan government. He continues to suffer from blood in his urine and has been prescribed up to 8 Tramadol pills per day—an alarming dose that raises serious concerns about his untreated condition.

This delay is unacceptable. Time is critical. We call on authorities to immediately allow Dr. Ko access to proper and independent medical evaluation and care. His health must not be compromised under any political or judicial pretense.

Medical neglect is a human rights violation.

柯文哲醫師住院接受治療刻不容緩！

自從提出讓柯文哲醫師獲得獨立醫療照護的申請已接近48小時，但至今未見任何實質回應。他持續出現尿中帶血的症狀，並被開立每日最多8顆的止痛藥Tramadol——這樣的劑量令人極度擔憂其病情可能相當嚴重卻未獲妥善治療。

這樣的拖延無法接受，現在每一分每一秒都至關重要。我們強烈呼籲相關單位立即允許柯醫師接受專業、獨立的醫療檢查與治療。任何政治或司法程序都不應凌駕於一個人的基本健康與人權之上。

延誤治療，是人權的踐踏。
