Supporters of Dr. Ko have been expressing their support in various ways, including biking, walking around Taiwan, gathering outside the detention center after work, creating art, and composing songs. However, the growth in petition signatures seems to have slowed, likely due to Change.org’s verification process. The platform removes invalid signatures for reasons such as: Use of VPNs; Multiple signatures from the same device or IP address; Unverified email addresses; Generic or inappropriate email addresses or names.
Additionally, the platform’s reliance on email verification may pose challenges for some supporters in Taiwan due to language or technical barriers.
Despite this, the petition has been steadily gaining more support internationally, with people from around the world joining this movement. To all justice supporters in Taiwan, don’t be discouraged by the slower growth in numbers. Every voice matters, and together, let’s keep up the effort and stay strong!
