After months of silence, Wendy’s issued a statement this week, entitled “When the Easy Answer Isn’t the Right One,” in response to the Fair Food movement’s national consumer boycott. The statement is littered with cheap innuendos, half-truths and outright fabrications -- and we can't let that stand. Yesterday, we published a point-by-point rebuttal, laying out the indisputable case that Wendy’s freshly minted Supplier Code of Conduct and whatever monitoring program the fast food giant claims to implement doesn’t hold a candle to the Presidential Medal-winning Fair Food Program.
