Hello, I'm Marta.
I know it has been long since the last update and, during this time, the number of signatures has continued to grow. We are not far from reaching 200,000 signatures, and I hope to be sending the letter soon.
The issues surrounding COVID-19 have been in the worldwide media coverage for the past couple of weeks and will continue to be for a relatively long time. These circumstances are making it difficult to focus our collective attention in other current problems, such as climate change.
Given this, I thought to share with you some information and news about this topic (climate change) that you might find interesting. As I'm not an expert, I will attach down below links to web pages, which obviously explain the topic better than I could ever do.
I will make updates during the following week, sharing with you new information every day.
Take care of yourself,
Thank you

If you haven't heard of this before, this is the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, an international group of scientists who study the issues surrounding climate change. They published a famous report on 2018 which gives us only one decade to fight against climate change and reduce more than 80% of the global emissions in order to prevent a feed-back loop that will make climate change irreversible.
Their studies and reports are the basis of Greta Thunberg's speech.
