How to get $4.4m from the govt without even trying

Hello Supporters,
Thank you for your interest in the analysis of the Business case and application for the $4.4 million Community Development Grant to remove the park at South Trigg for the construction of an unnecessary building. Due to surprisingly high number of requests, a link to this document is now included here.
A warning though; it’s quite confronting to be exposed to such passive ‘box ticking’ in the extreme, i.e., to realise that a more thorough evaluation of a business case would have occurred in the private sector for the purchase of a new printer.
Perhaps the fact an “application” is hardly required when you’ve long ago been pre-selected to receive a few million dollars as you fit someone’s political agenda, might account for the shameful embarrassment of inaccuracies, anomalies, fallacies and lies contained therein - why bother with standards when the money’s in the bank?
Sadly, anymore than a cursory glance at the material submitted by the sports administrators, quickly reveals that this massive concrete warehouse, conspicuous in its inappropriateness amongst the natural, coastal dune vegetation at South Trigg, as well as the removal of public open space, was completely unnecessary.
The additional space the surfing admin people wanted was already available - where they were.
While it is unfortunately too late for the park, perhaps a Federal ICAC will stop the practice of “pork barrelling” wasting further public funds on anything else we neither want, nor need.
Thank you once again for your interest.
