The petition is clearly making an impact. The police news site, ‘Police Oracle’ ran a story on the petition yesterday and in it, PFEW, were asked to respond.

They said: “no notice should be paid to this [petition], given it emanates from a disgruntled former branch official who was judged by a group of his peers to have been guilty of serious misconduct”.

“A spokesperson for the Federation added: “The Federation is wholly focused on its positive agenda for change and will not be distracted by gimmicks or campaigns consisting of personal attacks.””

I’ll sleep well being called “disgruntled”. I’ll add that to being called an “internal terrorist” because we are doing what we are doing because it’s the right thing to do.

We stand for change, for openness, transparency and accountability.

The petition has passed the 3,000 signatures mark. A huge THANK YOU to you all but we still have work to do.

Please keep sharing, keep encouraging people to sign it and keep the pressure on!
