Just an update on my husband's (Tom's on-line) petition. On March 6, 2025, I finally dropped of a formal complaint against the hospital, doctors, and nurses of the Dartmouth General Hospital with the "COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS & SURGEONS OF NOVA SCOTIA. As of today: 615 signed it, 599 supported it, 16,541 viewed it, 234 shared it, 5 paid promoted it, $295.00 was contributed to it, and 14,701 purchased views to the petition, 95% (594) are from Promotion signatures, 4% (22) are from Facebook signatures, 1% (9) are signatures from Change.org email, and another 1% (6) anonymous; this is just in a 5 month period. The petition was sent to Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston on January 14, 2025. After speaking with him in person on the street on January 17, 2025; he still has not kept his word to looking into it and contact me about it. Let's see just how much he cares about our Veterans. I ask that everyone send an email or letter him to address this petition. It's been 11 months ago, that my husband of 29yrs together lost his life in a Hospital that didn't care to give his the best of healthcare that he should have received. They over-dosed him on Propofol and Morphine and left him for dead on dirty bed sheets. If healthcare in Nova Scotia is working according to Premier Tim Houston, then, we should all be terrified for what awaits everyone in Nova Scotia when you are admitted into the Dartmouth General Hospital. I still haven't gotten the answers so I can have proper closure to being a widowed gay man. On Jan. 17, 2025, Premier Tim Houston promised me that he would look into what happened to my husband and how we were treated in the hospital. I haven't heard anything from him a month later. On Feb. 19, 2025, he told reporters that "all politicians and government employees should be held accountable for their actions." I guess this doesn't apply to him!!! I am never giving up on the fight to get answers why this happened to my husband (Thomas Arthur Hogan) "a very proud Canadian Navy Veteran." People should have the rights to die at home in peaceful surroundings, and not tied to a hospital bed and abused like a dog. Please share this with everyone you know. GET THE WORD OUT. Thank you and God bless.
