When I began this petition, I honestly didn't know that this would turn into what it has, and it shows just how strong the BMX Racing and Riding community is. While there are some out there that will never respect Vic, be it to past actions, or that he doesn't fit the "mold" that so many believe he should, there are more of us that do.
As the one who started this petition, I have received a handful of about 5 messages from those that don't support this move. 5 OUT OF OVER 2500. And out of those 5, only one was respectable and understanding.
Anyway, I sent an e-mail to USA BMX and while they may hold their silence, or they may make a statement, one thing we can all be sure of. USA BMX hasn't seen this much attention in who knows how long.
And the only thing I can be sure of, is that Vic deserves the opportunity to prove himself on and off the track. And no one can deny, he is the best all around rider on a BMX bike that we have seen! And NO other pro spends as much time with kids, riding and having fun!!!
