The Leaflets Have Landed!

Leaflets have been distributed to almost 7,000 households in the so called “Areas of Focus” in Cumberland along the Lake District Coast.

Thanks to generous donations to our crowdfund we are getting the message out that the plans for a deep mine to house a hot and very deep nuclear dump are an atomic experiment too far.   The leaflet calls for people to sign the petition to Cumberland Council urging them to hold a FULL debate and FULL vote on continuing in the “partnership” with the developer Nuclear Waste Services.  This plan is trundling along on the say so of only four councillors (and one of those is in receipt of nuclear monies).

Please do continue to share the petition especially if you live in the Cumberland area. We need over 1000 Cumberland folk to sign  in order to present it to Cumberland council.
