We did it! On 3/7/2025 the DBIA sent out a communication confirming that Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives funding has been released. 

Along with an advocacy trip to Washington DC led by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association's Rebecca Sweeney, the DBIA cited that the "many of you signed on to letters, called and emailed your members of Congress, and even participated in media interviews to push for the release of Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives funding" played an instrumental part in ultimately convincing the USDA to release these funds.

From the DBIA communication:
