In case you missed it: we won! Back in 2020, you joined me in an important campaign to urge the mayor of London to boycott Saudi Arabia's dictator as host of the G20 economic summit. And thanks to you, we did it! Thanks to our campaign, London Mayor Sadiq Khan declared that he would not attend Saudi Arabia's G20 economic event. He joined with the mayors of Paris, New York, and Los Angeles in deciding to stay away. That's because thousands of people came together to urge him to boycott this brutal dictatorship and its propaganda. Elected officials often face tough choices: Should they go to global events hosted by repressive rulers -- or should they stay away? Dictators often work overtime to try to host global events so they can shine the spotlight on themselves and hide their human rights crimes. Thanks to you, London Mayor Khan made the right choice and stayed away from Saudi Arabia's G20 summit. This proves that when we all come together, we can accomplish very big things.
