While the original attraction closed in December 2012 to make way for Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a modern reimagining could utilize the park's latest innovations to bridge the gap for longtime fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger's legacy.
 
Future Redesign Concept: T2:3D "Next-Gen"
A state-of-the-art restoration could leverage the same breakthrough technologiescurrently being deployed in the park's 2026 expansion:
Holographic Live-Action: Using advanced digital human tech from pioneers like Digital Domain (the original VFX house for T-2:3D), the show could feature ultra-realistic holographic performances that seamlessly interact with live stunt actors.
Augmented Reality (AR) Integration: Inspired by the success of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge in Super Nintendo World, guests could wear lightweight AR visors to see "Terminator Vision" HUDs, identifying targets and threats in real-time during the show.
Synchronized Motion Platforms: Drawing from the tech used in the upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift (opening Summer 2026), a new theater could feature 360-degree rotating seating or "drifting" platforms to simulate high-speed chases through a post-apocalyptic future.

Relocating a revived Terminator experience to a new, larger location near the Studio Tour entrance would create a dedicated "Sci-Fi Legacy" zone. This would preserve the nostalgic spirit of the original Cyberdyne Systems facade while allowing for a larger-scale, more immersive queue and pre-show area. 

Universal and Comcast must acquire Warner Brothers Company, Artisan Entertainment and Lions Gate Company with buy Terminator Franchise to reown the rights to bring back and to restore to replace some partial Upper lot most of rest of retail shopping stores include Hello Kitty Stores or some partial backstage connect to replace some partial parking lot area and Some part of Universal CityWalk partial area to make more room wide for this showbuilding area.
