Hello, you movie enthusiasts out there!

In 2018, the fifth part of the Jurassic Park saga starts in movie theaters worldwide, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
This is the perfect opportunity to do a remaster of Steven Spielberg's groundbreaking first part and its first sequel. The existing Blu-ray Discs use outdated HD transfers, partly oversharpened. These movies deserve better. On Jurassic Park, all important things are already there, since the movie got a brand new 4K transfer and a new 7.1 sound mix for its 3D conversion 2013. It's easy for Universal to use this to make a new 2D 1080p Blu-ray (without the heavy digital noise reduction and contrast boost, that happened for the 3D conversion/3D Blu-ray).

It is time for the movies to be presented in a quality they truly deserve. In times of breathtaking 4K transfers, Universal is almost obliged to remaster these masterpieces. With a new 4K scan from the original camera negative, these films could look a whole lot better. Universal could also profit from more customers buying their new 1080p Blu-ray Discs due to the tremendously upgraded video quality.

A nice Digibook packaging (like "Jaws", "Schinder's List" and "E.T.") including the original poster artwork, concept art, some photos and stills of famous movie scenes would be great. Further, a new documentary about the franchise and the upcoming film makes sense from a marketing point of view, so the new discs would promote the new film in theaters.

- new 4K transfer from the original camera negative for "The Lost World" and the existing 4K transfer that was made for the 3D conversion of "Jurassic Park"(without the contrast boost and the heavy digital noise reduction from the 3D Blu-ray) on new 1080p Blu-ray Discs (not only on Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs like they did with The Mummy Trilogy)

- Jurassic Park with existing 7.1 DTS HD Master Audio mix in English and German from the 3D Blu-ray Disc

- a new documentary/featurette about the franchise and the upcoming film "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom"

- a nice Digibook including a lot of interesting information about the film, concept art pictures and great, original film stills

- as for the artwork the original poster artwork, or the nice DVD Collectors Edition cover artwork
