Environmental activists have raised concern over fracking in SLO County. Currently we are waiting whether or not the EPA will consider the permit for hydraulic oil well fracking/aquifer exemptions in SLO. The County residents are fearful that the fracking will cause potential health impacts on residences in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria Counties including the creation of toxic waste to our water and land. That is why it is important to raise awareness about the proposed fracking wells and aquifer exemptions from the Arroyo Grande Oil Field. This request can be reversed by the Federal EPA if there is documented proof of air and water pollution. If anyone knows about this type of pollution, please come forward and detail it to the Federal EPA, as soon as possible.
