Dear international subcribers,

I would like to thank you for subscribing my petition for (the preservation of) the Westphalia reference in the name of Münster University.

Although the University Senate saw no reason to take up the petition in the sense of a continued name debate regarding to contemporary circumstances, I tend to declare the petition as a „little success“ because some Münster-University-members told me, they do miss the Westphalia reference, too and would suggest to keep the petition online.

I also tend to declare the petition as a a sustainable success, because petition subscriber Uwe Fischer from the City of Leipzig, Germany gave me a hint how to plant new trees with ecosia.org and I immediately purchased 500 trees on behalf of the petition that ecosia will plant. You are invited to add on more tree purchases to reach a positive life cycle assessment of our petition:
