UCF has announced that classes are CANCELLED MONDAY. Our homeless Knights have a bit more time to find temporary and permanent accommodation before classes begin Tuesday. Credit must be given to UCF for correcting course on this critical issue - but our fight is not over. An extra 24 hours is not enough time. Our Knights are helping their families recover from the terrible impact of Hurricane Ian (especially in the Fort Myers and Naples areas), picking up the pieces of their lives after devastating loses to their property, and searching for places to call home in the Orlando area. Classes should be canceled for the rest of next week. As difficult as it will be for our professors to retain their teaching schedules as planned, it will be even more difficult for UCF students to restore their lives while trying to go to class.
