All Male Committee in Utah REJECTS a Sales Tax Exemption for Tampons

What a surprise ... a committee of all men decided it's fair to keep taxing women's periods. After all, they suggested, if we eliminated the tampon tax the revenue would have to be recouped from the entire population. What a burden to the men of Utah!! We must keep making our voices heard. Fortunately more states and cities are stepping up. A #TamponTax bill in New York is now live again with bipartisan sponsorship. And the Chicago City Council has also taken up the fight with Mayor Rahm Emanuel calling the ordinance "the right thing to do."
