2,000 Signatures

The petition has reached 2,000 signatures! Thank you all. I will keep the petition open all month as it is IC awareness month. My local paper is writing an article about the petition, I am also currently trying to get other papers to write articles as well. Once I feel that I've gotten as much coverage as I can, I will be sending the petition, along with proclamations of IC Awareness Month, and a letter addressed to each Senator (much like the one on the petition). After that I hope to continue to follow through by meeting with Senator Mikulski to discuss what the next best course of action is or who the best people to talk to are if we want to push through this demand for increased funding for research and awareness.
