You can see in this story Nursing Home Abuse has been in front of the United States Senate. They keep referring to the CMS star system. I have said this for 20 years that the star system does not work. Ohio created a new star system that also does not work.

Also in this report six years ago and one year before the pandemic, they say "nursing homes are not prepared for emergency disasters", and it didn't take long to prove that.

Many people call me about making new laws for accountability, liability and more. There already are laws for all of this. The problem is there is no one to enforce them. There are many laws that mandate the enforcement of these laws, but there is no one to make sure this is done and it is left up to the facility.

Cameras do make a difference.
