Hello everyone,
First, I want to thank all of you for signing and sharing this petition. When I woke up this morning, I was elated to see that 84 people signed it. This is the first petition I ever created and honestly, I didn't have any expectations about how many people would sign it. The thought of Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force Veteran-turned domestic terrorist who was shot and killed while assaulting the Capitol, receiving military honors at her funeral motivated me to create this petition. Regardless of whether you served in uniform, are still serving, or never served, we are all Americans united in our love of this country. The notion of people who once took a sacred oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, becoming enemies of the state breaks my heart while simultaneously infuriating me to no end, and I'm sure you all feel the same way.
Again, I didn't know what to expect with this petition and still don't, but the fact that over 400 people have signed it blows me away. Let's keep the momentum going by spreading the word and sharing this petition to make sure we say in one clear voice that traitorous servicemembers and Veterans do not deserve the same benefits as those who have served honorably and those who continue to do so.
Let's roll!
