This video illustrates the ordeal EVERYONE'S cats has to currently go through.
Please note the part where they want you to WALK WITH YOUR CAT AND HOLD UP ONE OF YOUR HANDS SIMULTANEOUSLY THROUGH THE METAL DETECTOR. They may want to PAT DOWN YOUR CAT!!! HOW can they handle a skittish animal who doesn't know them?!?!? Please note, the video features a relaxed and tame cat and my 2 cats are NOT. I have TSA Pre-check status. That means I've had all kinds of criminal and background checks. My cats are skittish rescues and the stress TSA currently wants to put them through would no doubt cause them increased risks for cystitis, seizures, and bouts of gastroenteritis; not to mention escaping into the room and/or airport. Even if you manage to get a harness on them, they can wriggle out and also TSA sometimes wants you to take the harness off so they can scan it!
