To the Middleton Community
Thank-you SO much. Between the online signatures and signatures we collected by hand at the transfer station Saturday we have over 250 supporters of our effort to reduce the scope of the development at 97 N Main St. Thank you for signing AND sharing with your friends and neighbors.
The Planning Board is holding an open hearing Wednesday Dec 12 at 7:00 PM and I'm going to present to them the list of everyone who has signed.
I know its a lot to ask, especially during the Holiday Rush, but if there is any way you can make it to the meeting to show your support for our town or voice your opinion it would go a long way. I know that development is an issue that many people in town are passionate about and the planning board needs to hear your opinions (calmly and politely of course). I do think that the Boards in town want to be responsive to the town but they need to hear your voice.
Hopefully we will see you tomorrow evening and the hopefully the Board, and developer, will listen to our reasonable request.
