Hello one & all. Today it is with great pleasure that I am pleased to announce we have VICTORY at last. Yes the Ministry of Justice is going to announce tougher sentences for Drivers who kill whilst under the influence of Drink/drugs, Speeding, Racing or using Mobile phones, will now face sentences form 14 years up to life. They are also bringing in a new sentence of imprisonment for Drivers who cause serious injury whilst under the influence of Drink/drugs, Speeding, Racing or using Mobile phones. The long awaited report will be published on Monday 16th October, I will try to supply the link to the report once I have it. This of course wont change the sentence of the driver that took Bob's life, but I can at last feel that in the future other families will feel they have got some justice when the driver who has taken their loved ones life is liable to face a life sentence. I would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported me through my campaign for tougher sentences for these drivers. I aim to continue campaigning for changes to the drink drive laws in the hope the government will bring the drink drive levels in line with Scotland & Wales.
