While we delivered this petition to Antioch College two weeks ago, it is important that we continue to add supporters. The fate of the nine Antioch lambs will be determined within hours. Yesterday, two outstanding scholar/activists and I had an opportunity to talk with a small group of Antioch students. The students were unaware of Barbara Pearl Houten’s request that Antioch release the nine lambs to sanctuary as a memorial to her son, former Antioch student Jason Seth Houten, who passed in an accident in 2002. Several of the students thought this request should be honored and believed many Antioch students would agree. Please encourage others to sign this petition and please join these students in asking Antioch College to honor Barbara Pearl Houten’s request for the college to release the nine lambs to a waiting sanctuary as a memorial to her son Jason.
