Will New Zealand, Norway, Israel and Iceland hear the cries of Korean dogs?
May 17, 2017 — The clock is ticking!! Please take the simple and effective actions today asking the Olympic teams to speak out against the horrendous cruelty of the South Korean dog and cat meat trade! We are asking the New Zealand, Norway, Israel and Iceland teams to not turn a blind eye to the horrible injustice perpetrated in Korea against the millions of helpless animals. If you don’t speak out, who will? Thank you!!

South Korea now has a new president who is more concerned about animal welfare than his predecessor, Park Geun-Hye who was impeached for corruption. Now, we have a real opportunity to have our message heard by the new government and to bring about the change for which we have worked so hard. President Moon Jae-In had promised during his campaign, that he will improve the welfare of “animal friends”. So let’s not waste any time. Call, write, email President Moon and ask him to end the most urgent and important animal cruelty issue existing in South Korea today – the dog and cat meat trade!
