Mark Your Calendar: the First Fair Funding Meeting of the Year is on January 24!

Dear Friends - thank you for joining the Fair Funding fight in Cherry Hill. After a decade's neglect and significant decline in our school infrastructure, we need additional action from Trenton.

Increasing shares of "fair funding" are promised over the next 6 years, but that won't happen without our continued mobilization. Last school year, YOU took a first step in signing the Change.org petition and we reached over 1,800 signatures. Thousands of calls were made to legislators. We moved the needle and we need to gear up to move it further.

The Fair Funding fight has had significant victories over the past two years. In the 2017-2018 school year, we received an additional over $1 million over what was initially promised; in the 2018-2019 school year, we received an additional over $3 million over what was initially promised. Despite these increases, we remain woefully underfunded and the money "lost" from the State over the last decade to support Cherry Hill Schools now equals around $150 million.

This month the biggest way you can help is to come to the first Fair Funding meeting of the year at Malberg on January 24 at 7pm (45 Ranoldo Terrace, Cherry Hill). We need additional volunteers, ideas and energy. The time is now! There are calls, meetings and testimony ahead to keep the ball moving for the future of our town's kids! We need your passion, your participation and your engagement.
