Victoria's youth justice system is in crisis, the opposition says, after a wild three-hour riot broke out at the Malmsbury Centre. About a dozen teens confronted prison officers at the youth detention facility at 7pm on Saturday night. Opposition spokeswoman Georgie Crozier told the ABC the incident showed the youth justice system was in crisis, and those responsible did not fear the consequences. "It's not good enough that these kids think they can go on a rampage and cause so much damage and destruction," she said.
