We cannot wait until the horse has bolted, we must act now. Directly there are around 3000 jobs at stake if our fantastic national resource is allowed to decline to a point where it cannot recover, but indirectly, those working in angling based support industry, hotels, B&Bs restaurants, tackle shops, petrol stations etc, etc, and the suppliers of all of those businesses, will be as much as 10,000!! Your fantastic effort in this petition, I know, will go a great way to this resource being managed in exactly the right way, not only for the people of Scotland, but for those managing wild salmon in our neighboring countries too. This initial step and show of unity from inside and out of the angling community will help turn this into reality. Thanks you all.
