I am in the process of downloading the Justice for Chunky petition with 603,000 signatures to deliver to Bethan Jenkins AM and the Welsh Assembly on the 7th of November. When I deliver the petition on the 7th of November, I will be accompanied by my husband Brian and the event to deliver the petition should occur at approximately 12:30. If there is anyone who would like to come and show your support, please do! This is a pet friend event so please bring your dogs and let’s show the UK that we mean business. By showing up with your pet it will show Wales and the rest of the UK that UK residents WANT an animal abuse register! Brian and I could not have not made it this far without your support. I want to thank everyone here who has helped us by signing the petition, which is simply amazing. Words cannot begin to describe that amount of gratitude Brian and I feel for your support. I wish I could thank all of you individually. Thank you to everyone who has donated, we could not have made it to Wales without your help. Finally, thank you to everyone who has shared this petition, all of you who have contacted me with offers of support and those who have given time to us. The journey has been tough, we have had some tears at times, but we are going to do this. When this started we said it was not going to be fast and there were going to be many bumps along the way. Soon we will have a register in Wales, and we all know what that means - England, Scotland and Ireland will be soon to follow. We are also on a committee in conjunction with this so if anyone has any amazing ideas about how to fund the register please shout them out we want to hear from you. Credit will be given to anyone's idea that is used in the final write of this register. Please go home and hug your pets, love them because we are there cheering on for your friends who keep you warm at night and who are there protecting your house. It is time to deliver the protection they deserve and hopefully one day soon the register will be UK wide. Lastly remember you have shown you can make a difference when all our voices are heard. The battle for an animal abuse registry is not over and there will be more battles; however, for now you can go to bed knowing you have made difference. Show your support for the Animal Abuse Register and lets get a campaign going on Facebook, Twitter, etc., called Selfie Sunday. Take selfie with your pet and #selfiesundayAAR for awareness of the UK wide animal abuse register (AAR). I want people to see that we are the voices of the UK that are asking for things to change!!
