It has now been proven by DNA that the Brumbies of the Snowy Mountains are in fact decendents of the 1000's of amazing horses that were sent to World War 1 and proved themselves in the most important battles of the War in particular the Charge at Beersheba, crossing the Sinai Dessert and the taking of Damascus to name a few. Take note in Channel 7's story were Scienceficionist Don Driscoll Claims that the Brumby is spreading weeds. If the Brumby is in fact spreading weeds along with all other herbivores that live in the park it in fact can only spread the weeds that the National Sparks and Wildfire Service along with its longtime supporters such as Driscoll have done nothing about for decades. These Brumbies dont go to town for the weekend and bring the weeds back with them, Driscoll and the National Sparks and Wildfire Service are happy to walk past these weeds and blame it and everything else on the poor old Brumby and Climate Change rather then their own mismanagement in order to build more ski resorts, bicycle tracks, and fancy restaurants for their fly in fly out boffin buddies that are happy to spend their lives suckling on the public purse. No-one can forget that It was only a couple of years ago that Driscoll was claiming that these very same brumbies were caninbals, yes cannibals. But yet the NSW Government and its policy makers rely upon the likes of him when making decisions. What an appalling state our Beautiful Country is in.
