Sep 4, 2015 — Update: Yesterday (3rd September) The Health Minister revealed that he would be launching a public consultation later this month and was committed to setting up a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. The HEMS4NI campaign has now received more than 64,000 online signatures and upwards of 7000 people have signed the paper petition at various events across Northern Ireland. For this reason, and as a way to thank everyone that took the time to sign the petition, the hand over will still take place this coming Tuesday. The hand over is not closed to the public and anyone wishing to show their support is more than welcome to attend from 10:00am. Jim Allister MLA will receive the petition from the HEMS4NI campaign group at Stormont on the 8th September at 10:30am. Thank you again for all your support.
