Hello everyone … Thank you to all our new / recent signers… your support is invaluable.

It has been a while since we have communicated from the petition team. In this time, Gem was given a terminal diagnosis, the nation went in to lockdown, Gem was moved to a hospice where she married her long term partner Rick, and sadly, Gem passed away (peacefully in her new husbands arms) on Wednesday 22nd July.

This is a really sad time for all those who knew and loved Gem, and we will take a little time to mourn and to process our loss.

BUT… we will be back, fighting for change in Gemma’s name. She made us promise we would push for change, and we will do everything we can to make her proud… so watch this space for the next steps.
