Happy Spring! The Bring Aquamation to BC petition is now over 1500 signatures!

Thank you for signing and sharing this important initiative!

I want to highlight some of the reasons for signing that you have all so graciously given! Your signatures and expression of the need for Aquamation to be an option is what keeps me going.

Here's what you have to say:

"I believe there needs to be an environmentally responsible alternative to 'traditional' burial or cremation." ~ Carsten Davids

"Different options for body disposal/preservation should be available. As a progressive province, we must allow this more eco-friendly alternative for body management." ~ Noah Jenner

"I want this to be an option for me - I don't want to be cremated, and natural burial options here are limited. It's frankly ridiculous that this isn't available in BC yet. This is a great way to reduce greenhouse gases." ~ Leilah Thiel

"We should have as many choices as possible for end of life planning... Especially green options." ~ Kathy Price

"I am signing because we need to be more ecological about death -- as well as all of the elements of life. I hope that by the time that I die, Resomation/Bio-cremation or Recomposition (humyn composting) will be available in BC." ~ Pashta MaryMoon

There are many more and my answer is "Yes!" to all of them. 

The cremation rate in Canada was at 73.1% in 2019 and is forecasted to grow to 77.6% by 2024. We need this option now. Mother Earth needs it now.
