Official petition to NSW Parliament at 7253 is gaining momentum.

Tumut Community members are strongly supporting the petition for 2 full-time doctors to be employed by MLHD at Tumut Hospital.

We have 7253 paper based signatures and have the support of neighbouring towns.

The entire Riverina community is astonished by the attitude of the NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard and the MLHD board and current management that third world standards should be sufficient for residents and taxpayers west of the Great Divide.

Tumut Hospital was without a single doctor again last week.
