Hi everyone,

It’s been just over two weeks since I began this campaign and it has now taken a life of its own thanks to your incredible support with nearly 53,000 people signing the petition. I am in touch with some Year 12 high schoolers who have expanded the campaign in their own style - check out their Instagram page!

There are some people criticising the campaign as being selfish which is disappointing. We are only asking for our kids to be able to celebrate this important milestone in a COVID-safe way. The safety of our children and school staff is still the topmost priority. We will take all the same precautions which are being taken to organise other big events such as weddings, NRL games & corporate events in NSW. 

I am so impressed by the work these young people are putting in on social media. Please support their efforts by liking the page. And if you’re a year 12 student, please message them to know how you can be a part of their actions.

I hope the Premier can empathise with us and we can begin to talk about how to make the Formals and Graduations a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
