Petition updateTHE CONN ACTINSTEAD OF GRIEVING I WAS SOLVING MY FATHERS PREMATURE DEATH

FOUR DAYS after my Fathers BURIAL I went marching up to the Wichita, KS VA Medical center requesting all of his medical records. Once those records were received I started my research and began requesting ALL of his medical records with his outside providers through community care as well.

I followed the chain of command. I reached out to head directors. I reached out to our State senator. I reached out to every authority I could think of regarding this matter….but again, I was left alone to conquer all of this alone while grieving and raising my one year old.

I unplugged for 6 months. I deactivated my social medias. My husband was hiring babysitters just so I could work FULL-TIME reviewing all of my Fathers records and CONNECTING THE DOTS.

My Friends and family assumed I was grieving during this time….but I wasn’t. I was working overtime trying to figure out what REALLY happened to my Dad.

This policy reform isn’t just for some “grieving Daughter who lost her Dad”

This reform is for ALL VETERANS. ALL SILENT HEROES. ALL OF THOSE VIETNAM VETERANS who were used and discarded, those with mental and physical health issues that were dismissed, this is a call to action for the systems that make it extremely difficult just for veterans to receive any kind of compensation for what they endured and DESERVED.

This is for my DAD🕊️

#TheConnAct is a call for NATION WIDE REFORM

I have the reciepts, I have the paper trial, I have the facts (which have been submitted)

NOW…we need change and we need it immediately 🇺🇸

PLEASE CONTINUE TO SIGN AND SHARE

I WON’T STOP TILL THERE IS CHANGE 🪖🎖️🇺🇸 🇻🇳

Sincerely,

Trisha Conn-Lemuz
